The Zolder circuit is located in Heusden-Zolder, Flanders, Belgium and is 2.442 miles long.

Since 1963 it has held 43 Formula One Grand Prix and has been host to several important international races.

Most notably, the circuit has staged the Belgian Grand Prix five times, held from 1973-1984.

The circuit was revamped to meet new safety regulations in 2002, and is now used for GT and Touring Car races.

Aside from racing, the circuit also hosted a rock festival in the 1930s.

Zolder hosted the 1982 round of the Motocross Grandprix, the first international motocross race since the death of J. K., the world championed in the years before.

The majority of the track has remained unchanged since 1973, with only minor modifications being made over the years.

In 2010, the circuit underwent a major overhaul to modernize the track, with new drainage and a new first corner being constructed.
